CLASSES DESCRIPTION
ASHTANGA VINYASA YOGA - MYSORE
The practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga combines postures, to strengthen and realign the body, breathing techniques to increase vitality and strengthen the nervous system, and concentration and meditation practices to calm the mind and ease stress.
This traditional Yoga training style emphasizes individualized practice geared to a student’s particular needs and condition. The class works on developing a deeper sense of awareness and enhanced free movement. Students learn about vinyasa, a system of movement that is coordinated with the breath.
The teacher circulates energy, giving each student individual correction, support, physical adjustments, and verbal instructions to ensure the full potential of the practice.
Nilesh Tiwari oversees the class with attention to each student’s needs, caring for the psychosomatic state of the student by placing emphasis on total mind-body suppleness beyond physical flexibility.

PRANA SHAKTI
This beginners class was developed for newcomers to Yoga who desire to build a strong link between the breath and the body. Yoga asanas are created to work in unison with the breath, and this class pushes the limits of known “breathing” to new levels. This practice over time impacts much more than the lungs, oxygenating and reinvigorating the entire body. Transformative breath recharges the body and mind by inviting a greater charge of life force - Prana - to circulate the body. Fun and laughter feature in these classes as students learn to re-program their unconscious habits. Nilesh shares his wisdom with a fresh, lighthearted approach that helps students see themselves in a new light.

200-HOURS YOGA TEACHER TRAINING COURSE
Nataraja Yoga Teacher Training Course is designed to produce qualified and inspiring yoga teachers, guides, and leaders of Peace, Health, and Celebration. Our purpose is to empower your very own practice and discipline so we can impart the yoga experience to those that feel the calling to walk the path of yoga. Our modules are designed and researched by the power of science and spirituality. The four-course program starts with a classic teacher's course that develops the skills to teach yoga asana and provides a solid grounding in the classical yoga tradition by exploring and experiencing the essence of ancient yogic science and knowledge.
We are guided by the Ashtanga Vinyasa and Sivananda Hatha Yoga lineage and school of thought. Our 200 hour, five-week intensive course allows close interaction with our experienced and dedicated teachers and staff who themselves are immersed in the yogic lifestyle. The course is connected to an ancient teaching lineage (Guru Parampara), which has been passed down from guru to disciple through thousands of years, the curriculum is extensive and involves both theory and practice exercises, providing a strong base from which to teach others naturally and with confidence.
