Mantras play a very important role in the Science of Yoga, the manifestation and representation of supreme consciousness. Mystical energy encased in a sound structure has the ability to move energies, creating profound change within the practitioner and the environment at large.

Mantra chanting of classical Sanskrit prayers (Slokas) Indian gods and their cosmic meaning Arati and Pujas are ceremonial giving of thanks to the Divine (traditional Vedic/yogic rituals). A mantra, when constantly repeated, awakens the consciousness. A mantra is embraced by practice and achieved by a mental process. The root "man" in the word mantra comes from the first syllable of that word meaning "to think" and "tra" from "trai" meaning "to protect or free" from the bondage of the phenomenal world.

In this beginners course, we offer comprehensive lessons in Sanskrit mantras. Nilesh will guide the students on how to chant and apply these sacred sounds to their lives thoroughly and practically, following the Vedic principles.
